The innovative scanner that reduces waste.

Plas’tri is an intelligent portable scanner that enables sorting centres to identify different plastic polymers.

In one click, the name of the scanned plastic is displayed on the screen. Easily recognised, each waste can then be redirected to the appropriate recycling centre and sold at its fair value.

Identification of plastic polymers and textiles by camera

Identification is made by taking up to 500 dots per cm2.

The advantage of this system is that it can identify several objects at once. This identification system can be coupled with an ejection system or a robot arm.
It is also possible to perform statistical analysis on the shreds for effective quality control.

Simple, intelligent identification of plastic polymers

Plastics are identified using near infrared spectroscopy, the most reliable technique to date.

By pressing the trigger, a light signal is sent against the waste. Each type of plastic will filter this signal differently, enabling it to be correctly identified.
Once the signal has been analysed, the name of the plastic is clearly displayed on the scanner screen.

Eight hours of autonomy

Our scanner can be used in mobility. Once recharged via a USB cable, it has about eight hours of autonomy.

Technicians are not hindered in their work and can move from one sorting line to another for greater efficiency.

Controlled sorting for optimised recycling

60 million tons of plastics are produced in Europe in one year. Of the half collected and sent to a sorting centre, only a third will be recycled.

That’s not enough!

Landfilling and incineration are too often considered to be the only solutions to the problem of misidentification. Our aim is therefore to facilitate the sorting of waste to encourage recycling.

Identifying waste clearly and effectively means (re)giving them value and enabling sorting centres to increase their profitability, while limiting their environmental impact.

A respectful ecosystem in which everyone is a winner!

Why not turn your waste into resources?

Enter the data of your sorting center, and find out how to restore value to your plastic waste.
Identifying and better sorting your waste is to ensure better profitability.

Our calculation is based on the following data:

  • RECYCLING : The Plas’tri scanner enables you to recycle 35% of the waste intended to be thrown away at the sorting stage.
    Calculation : tons x % discarded waste x 35%
  • SAVE : 160€, that’s the price for the landfill of 1 ton of waste.
Calculation : 160 x the number of recycled tons
  • WIN : 210€, that’s the price of 1 ton of sorted plastic.
Calculation : 210 x the number of recycled tons

The estimation of saved CO2 equivalent is based on data provided by Climate Forecast: 1 ton of recycled material means 400 kg of CO2 avoided.

Each sorting centre is generally specialised in the recycling of a specific plastic. The other plastics are then removed from the chain to be buried or incinerated.

In order to limit this loss, we are working on developing a platform to link up your centre with other sorting centres.

We have several objectives :

# Limit your environmental impact
Directing waste that you cannot treat on site to the appropriate sorting centre (instead of landfill).
# Taking advantage of waste
By selling your scrapped recyclable plastics or by buying, at low cost, sorted plastics intended for landfill.
# Participating in a circular economy
By creating a local synergy between all the players in the chain, everyone becomes a winner and helps to limit the social and environmental impact of waste.
